Here at Miss Dee’s School of Dance we believe in teaching our students self confidence and self discipline through exercise in the fine art of dance while having fun. Obesity in youth and teens has grown to an alarming rate and needs to be addressed. The flip side to this is some people push them in the wrong direction by introducing them to bulimia and anorexia, which can be just as serious and life threatening as obesity. Having your child in dance class with us is a wonderful way to help them learn about and have a healthy and happy lifestyle. This is why I am adding some new articles to our website to help educate you, as the parents, and the students, on ways to eat healthier, exercise more to increase flexibility, tone and strength the body.
